Luize Goncalves Lima

Luize Goncalves Lima is a highly experienced researcher and educator with a strong focus on cancer research, particularly in the areas of tumor microenvironment, extracellular vesicles, tumor immunology, and breast cancer metastasis. Currently serving as a Research Assistant Professor at The Chinese University of Hong Kong since June 2024, Luize previously held the position of Postdoctoral Research Officer at QIMR Berghofer Medical Research Institute from February 2016 to May 2024. With extensive teaching experience, Luize has lectured on subjects such as Bioestatistics, Histology, and Pathology across various universities, including IBMR Laureate International Universities and UGB - Centro Universitário Geraldo Di Biase. Luize holds a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Medical Biochemistry, a Master of Science (MS) in the same field, and a Bachelor of Science (BS) in Medical Bioscience, all obtained from the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro.
