Prahlad Raninga is a Senior Research Officer at Mater Research since March 2024 and has been a Board Certified MSL from July 2021 with from SCIENCE to PHARMA (FSTP). Previously, Prahlad served as a Post-doctoral Research Officer at QIMR Berghofer Medical Research Institute from January 2017 to March 2024, focusing on developing novel combination therapies for breast cancer, ovarian cancer, and multiple myeloma, particularly through small molecule-based targeted therapies and their impact on the tumor immune microenvironment. Earlier roles include Assistant Research Officer at Temasek Life Science Laboratory in Singapore (2010-2012) and Research Assistant at Newcastle University (2009-2010), where Prahlad collaborated on identifying novel tumor suppressor genes and oncogenes in acute lymphocytic leukemia. Educational qualifications include a Doctor of Philosophy in developing novel therapies for Multiple Myeloma from Griffith University (2013-2017), a Master of Research in Molecular Pharmacology from the University of East Anglia, United Kingdom (2007-2009), and a Bachelor of Pharmacy from Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences (2002-2006).
