Scott Pratt

Scott Pratt is a seasoned legal professional with extensive experience in intellectual property and commercialisation within the medical research sector. Currently serving as Senior Legal Counsel at QIMR Berghofer Medical Research Institute since May 2019, Scott has demonstrated expertise in translating and commercialising intellectual property. Previous roles include Legal Counsel at Flight Centre, focusing on corporate transactions and compliance, and Associate at Herbert Smith Freehills, specialising in consumer protection within the Competition, Regulation and Trade group. Scott's earlier experience encompasses positions as Senior Attorney at The Walt Disney Company EMEA and lawyer roles at Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer and Andrews Robichaud, where Scott focused on dispute resolution and intellectual property, respectively.
