Alan Lavell-Smith

Alan Lavell-Smith has extensive work experience at QinetiQ. Alan began their career at QinetiQ as a Principal Radar Engineer in an undisclosed year, working in this role until 2009. From 1995 to 2010, they also worked as a Radar Engineer. In 2008, Alan took on the role of Electromagnetic Field Site Safety Advisor, where they provided EMF/RADHAZ advice and guidance and was responsible for EMF Safety at multiple QinetiQ sites in the UK. Additionally, they served as a Senior Principal System Engineer starting from December 2020, and later became Chief Scientist (CCIS IDT) in January 2020. The exact end dates for these two roles are not provided.

Alan Lavell-Smith attended the University of Plymouth from 1987 to 1991 and obtained a Bachelor's degree in Electronic and Electrical Engineering.
