Craig Saunders

Craig Saunders is a Lead Flight Test Engineer at QinetiQ, with extensive experience in flight physics engineering, particularly in rotary wing systems. Since joining QinetiQ in August 2017, Craig has advanced through various engineering roles, focusing on flight test and aerospace technologies. Prior to this, Craig served as Membership Secretary and Student Representative for the Hatfield Branch of the Royal Aeronautical Society, and worked as a Research Associate at the University of Hertfordshire, investigating aerodynamics in fixed-wing aircraft. Early career experience includes internships at Hybrid Air Vehicles and Thales, as well as a role at Waitrose that developed interpersonal and leadership skills. Craig holds a Master of Engineering in Aerospace Engineering with Space Technology from the University of Hertfordshire and is currently pursuing further education as a Flight Test Engineer at ETPS.
