Lisa Hunter-Yeats has a diverse and extensive work experience in the defense industry. Lisa started their career in 1993 at GEC Marconi as an Engineering Manager, where they were responsible for engineering development activities for Command System projects. Lisa then moved on to Alenia Marconi Systems, where they worked as a Technical Sales Manager, Project/Bid Manager, and Project Manager. In 2005, they joined BAE Systems as a Strategy Manager for Naval Combat Systems. Lisa later worked at BAE Systems Maritime - Naval Ships as the Head of Mine Warfare Programs. Lisa also worked as a Strategy & Business Development Consultant at Atlas Elektronik and as the Managing Director of SWSI Consultancy Ltd. Currently, they are the Head of Business, Land Solutions at QinetiQ, where they have held multiple roles including Head of Technology Exploitation for Maritime, Land & Weapons, Head of Business - Disruptive Mission Systems, and Senior Program Manager - Future Systems. Throughout their career, Lisa has been responsible for strategic planning, business development, project management, and technological advancements in various defense-related areas.

Lisa Hunter-Yeats completed their BSC (Hons) degree in Computer Science at The University of Manchester from 1990 to 1993. Later, from 2002 to 2004, they pursued postgraduate studies and obtained a PgD in Project Management from Portsmouth University. Prior to their higher education, Lisa attended Beaconsfield High School.
