Karen Sanderson

Karen Sanderson has extensive work experience in various managerial roles in the healthcare industry. Karen started their career as a Supervisor of Disease Management at Capital BlueCross in 2007 and worked there until 2010. Karen then joined APS Healthcare as a Manager, Telephonic Health Services from September 2010 to April 2012. After that, Karen joined Novitas Solutions, Inc. where they served as a Manager - Clinical Appeals from September 2012 to June 2023. In 2022, they worked at Premier Health Partners as a Manager, Denial from May 2022 to June 2023. Currently, they are working at Qlarant as a Manager Medical Review since September 2022.

Karen Sanderson earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Registered Nursing/Registered Nurse from UT Health San Antonio between 1989 and 1991. Karen later pursued a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) in Health/Health Care Administration/Management from Western Governors University, completing their studies between 2014 and 2015.
