Nick Magnuson

Nick Magnuson is an accomplished leader in the fields of artificial intelligence and predictive analytics, currently serving as the Head of AI and Vice President at Qlik since September 2021. Prior to this role, Nick was the Chief Executive Officer at Big Squid, Inc., where leadership contributed to the development of a premier machine learning software platform aimed at enhancing business analytics through AI. Nick's expertise in quantitative finance was established as the Founder and Senior Analyst at Metis Global Partners, focusing on predictive analytics for equity portfolios, and further honed during tenures at Brandes Investment Partners and Jeffrey Slocum & Associates, where Nick led diverse teams in creating innovative investment strategies. An early career also included roles at American Skiing Company and Knight Financial Products. Nick holds an AB in Economics from Dartmouth College.
