Mohamed Farrag

Mohamed FARRAG is an experienced professional in the field of network engineering and cybersecurity, currently serving as the Network Engineering Lead and Product Owner for Firewalling services at Swift since September 2020. In addition, Mohamed holds the role of Senior Security Consultant at the same company. Since March 2007, Mohamed has been the Lead Security Architect at MTELECOM. Mohamed is also an active investor in multiple companies including Mintos, Qlower, Cowboy, Matera, fazil neobank, Nanusens, and previously Ismo. Prior to these roles, Mohamed served as an Infrastructure Security Architect at Materialise from July 2019 to December 2022. Educational credentials include an Executive Master's degree in IT Management from Solvay Brussels School of Economics and Management (2014-2015), as well as studies at ECAM Brussels Engineering School, Haute École Francisco Ferrer, and ISIB - Institut Supérieur Industriel de Bruxelles.
