Alvaro Perez-Moreno

Alvaro Perez-Moreno has an extensive work experience, beginning in 2005 as a Database Assistant at RIEJU S.A. In 2006, they worked as a Technician at Area Guasch Ingeniería, and in 2008 they worked as a Researcher and Engineer at the Fetal Medicine Research Center. In 2013, they became an endoVV Researcher at the same center as part of a Marie Curie Fellowship. In 2014, they continued their Marie Curie Fellowship at KU Leuven, and in 2016 they worked as a Visiting PhD Researcher at KU Leuven. From 2015 to 2020, they worked as a PhD candidate at the Fetal Medicine Research Center. In 2020, they became the Director of Quality and Regulatory Affairs at QMENTA Inc. Previously, they held roles such as Chief Technology Officer, Regulatory and Technical Responsible, Product Manager, Technical Project Manager, and Engineer and Developer at TRANSMURAL BIOTECH.

Alvaro Perez-Moreno has a comprehensive educational background. Alvaro completed a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Erasmus Mundus Joint Doctorate in Fetal and Perinatal Medicine from the Universitat de Barcelona in 2019. Alvaro also holds an MSc in Biomedicine from the Universitat de Barcelona, which they completed in 2011. Their undergraduate studies were completed at the Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya, where they earned a BSc+MEng in Electrical Engineering (Telecommunications) in 2009. Additionally, they have obtained several certifications, including Cribado y Diagnóstico Prenatal and Ecografía Morfológica from fetal i+D EDUCATION in 2019, KIM Talent: Tech Transfer training program and KIM Talent: Doctorat Industrial from Knowledge Innovation Market (KIM) in 2016, Machine Learning from Coursera in 2013, and Data Analysis from Coursera in 2013.
