Gary Ostoich

Gary Ostoich is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in the asset management and legal sectors. Since August 2009, Ostoich has served as President of Spartan Fund Management, a Toronto-based firm specializing in alternative investment solutions. Prior to this, Ostoich was the Past Chair of AIMA Canada, contributing to the representation of the Canadian alternative investment industry from September 2009 to August 2014. Ostoich's earlier roles include President of Salida Capital Corp. from September 2004 to October 2008, where responsibilities involved overseeing infrastructure and guiding strategic growth, and Partner at McMillan LLP from October 1987 to July 2004, leading the hedge fund practice and recognized in LEXPERT’s Guide to the Leading 500 Lawyers in Canada. Ostoich holds a J.D. from Queen's University and a B.Sc. (Honours) in Biology from the University of Guelph.
