Kyle Fondren

Kyle Fondren has been working in the security engineering and incident response field since 2010. Kyle started at Tanager Inc as a Security Analyst - Incident Response, where they led and managed security incidents, investigated network anomalies, preserved and forensically analyzed data from electronic sources, and provided high quality reports. In 2017, they moved to Merlin International as a Security Engineer & Incident Response Analyst, where they designed and maintained an IR Lab for static and dynamic malware analysis/POC testing and validation, and proactively defended against sophisticated cyber security threats through automation leveraging Splunk's Adaptive Response framework. Kyle is currently working as a Senior Splunk Engineer at Qmulos.

Kyle Fondren obtained their Associate's degree in Cyber Security from Anne Arundel Community College between 2010 and 2012. Kyle also holds four certifications: Splunk Administrator (2017), Splunk Power User (2016), CompTIA Security+ ce (2016), and CCNA (2014).
