Ugur Cihan Koc

Ugur Cihan Koc has extensive work experience in the field of penetration testing and cybersecurity. Ugur Cihan is currently working at HackerOne as a Pentest Team Lead, where they carry out penetration tests under the Pentest as a Service model. Prior to this, they had similar roles at Cobalt and QNB Finansbank. Ugur Cihan has also worked as a Penetration Tester at Bugcrowd, Oneleet (YC S22), Synack Red Team, Garanti BBVA Teknoloji, Turk Telekom, and Biznet Bilişim. Additionally, they served as a Researcher at the Cyber Security Institute of TÜBİTAK BİLGEM. Throughout their career, Ugur Cihan Koc has been responsible for conducting penetration tests, managing threat and vulnerability, and ensuring security compliance for various organizations.

Ugur Cihan Koc earned a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Engineering from Ege University from 2008 to 2012. Ugur Cihan later pursued a Master's degree in Cyber Security from Gebze Technical University between 2017 and 2020. Prior to their university education, they attended Ordu Science High School from 2004 to 2007. In addition to their academic qualifications, they have obtained several certifications, including AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner from Amazon Web Services, Offensive Security Web Expert (OSWE), Offensive Security Certified Expert (OSCE), Offensive Security Certified Professional (OSCP), GIAC Mobile Device Security Analyst (GMOB), Offensive Security Wireless Professional (OSWP), and Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH) from various institutions from 2014 to 2021.
