Alex Bunn

Alex Bunn is a Principal Sustainability Engineer at QODA Consulting, where responsibilities include leading Passivhaus design and developing net zero carbon strategies for buildings and large developments since February 2020. Notable achievements include the Purdown View Student Accommodation project which received the Passivhaus Classic Standard in July 2023, recognized as the largest of its kind in the UK at the time. Previous experience includes roles as a Senior Sustainability Engineer specializing in Passivhaus design, an Energy Consultant at Energetics focusing on carbon emissions reduction strategies, and a Business Development Intern at Tesla's Energy Storage Team. Alex's engineering background encompasses significant experience in HVAC design and energy efficiency from positions at Arup and Max Fordham LLP, along with a Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Warwick and being a Chartered Engineer with Engineers Australia and the Institution of Mechanical Engineers.
