Jacques Malherbe

Jacques Malherbe has worked in the IT industry since 2007. From 2007 to 2010, they were a System Engineer at iSquared South Africa, where they managed and maintained client IT infrastructure, including physical server support, maintaining services such as Exchange 2003-2007, Active Directory 2003-2008, Trend Micro Anti Virus, Backups, SAN (iSCSI and Enterprise), Hardware and Software Firewall, Programming Cisco Routers, Configuring Riverbed devices, Working on Dell Servers and Desktops, and Wireless devices. Jacques also managed VMWare ESXi servers and provided general client desktop support and remote client support.

Since 2010, Malherbe has worked at Qorus Software, where they have held various roles. As a Technical Solutions Manager, they engage with clients who require custom solutions, consulting the client, gathering requirements, architecting, estimating the work/cost, managing the dev team, and delivering the solution. As a Developer/Implementation Specialist, they worked to deliver a custom SharePoint workflow solution that worked in tandem with custom event receiver code. As an Engineer/Developer, they worked with the Product development team to deliver latest code enhancements. As a Senior System Engineer, they built and maintained SharePoint farms and multi-tenant farms, managed Azure environments, and created PowerShell scripts and tools for SharePoint, Active Directory, and Windows Server. Jacques also did C# Development for custom solutions (MVC, SharePoint, Desktop apps) and maintained multiple domains, servers, and services locally and remotely.

Jacques Malherbe has a comprehensive education history. Jacques obtained a Comptia Certificate in Comptia Linux+ from Netscope in 2006, a Microsoft Qualification in MCSE 2003 from Netscope in 2006, a Comptia Certificate in Comptia Security+ from Netscope in 2006, and a Cisco Qualification in CCNA from Netscope in 2006. Jacques also obtained an ITNIS Diploma and a Certificate of Achievement in ITNIS Diploma from Prestige Academy in 2004 and 2005, respectively. Additionally, they obtained Certificates in Office and SharePoint, Open Source and Web, C Sharp, and Windows from Microsoft Virtual Academy in 2017, 2017, 2016 and 2014, respectively. Jacques also attended JG Meiring from 1999 to 2003.
