David Punsalan

David Punsalan is a highly experienced engineer with a strong background in chemical engineering and a proven track record in the semiconductor and electronics industries. Currently, David serves as a Staff Engineer in the Yield and Integration Group at Qorvo, Inc., focusing on improving yield through subject matter expertise and data analysis since October 2018. Prior to this role, David worked at Triquint Semiconductor as a Process Engineer specializing in lithography from September 2006. Additionally, David has experience as an R&D Engineer at Hewlett Packard, where responsibilities included research in flexible and inkjet printable electronics, as well as solid oxide fuel cells, and process development for "IGZO" type semiconductor materials from September 2001 to September 2006. Earlier in David's career, a research assistant position at the University of Texas at Austin involved studying gas absorption and diffusion in polymer materials from 1997 to 2001. David holds a PhD in Chemical Engineering from The University of Texas at Austin and a BS in Chemical Engineering from Tulane University.
