Seng Loong Yu

Seng Loong Yu is a Senior Design Engineer at Qorvo, Inc. since December 2022, specializing in the design of BAW filters for various telecommunications applications. Previously, Seng served as a Graduate Research Assistant at Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University from January 2018 to December 2022, conducting research in wireless devices and electromagnetics. Seng also gained experience as a BAW R&D Intern at Qorvo, Inc. in 2020, where responsibilities included developing filter topologies for band n77. Experience as a Teaching Associate at San Jose State University involved planning and instructing electronics design labs, covering topics such as diodes and PCB design. Seng began an academic path in electrical engineering with a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of South Florida, followed by a Master of Science and a Doctor of Philosophy degree from San Jose State University and Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University, respectively.
