Mariya Sholkina

Mariya Sholkina is an experienced professional in the field of optics and engineering, currently serving as Lab Manager and Safety Officer at QphoX since October 2024. Prior roles include Optical and Production Engineer at Cassini Technologies B.V. and Optics Technical Engineer and Laser Safety Officer at QuTech. Mariya's career began as a Junior Research Assistant at the State Scientific Institution "Institute for Single Crystals," followed by positions as a Research Assistant at Universiteit Utrecht and a Researcher at Erasmus MC, contributing to significant projects in Raman imaging and fluorescence microscopy. Educational qualifications include a Master’s degree from V. N. Karazin Kharkiv National University, complemented by a background in physics and mathematics from a specialized gymnasium.
