Risto Koski has a comprehensive work history, starting in 1995 as a Market Analyst at Telecom Finland Ltd. Risto then went on to work at Nokia NMedia, where they held various roles such as Marketing Manager, Sales Manager, and Partner Manager. At Nokia Services & Software, Koski served as a Senior Program Manager and later as a Senior Development Manager, where they were responsible for sales and marketing solutions and consumer analytics. In 2013, they co-founded Memory Trails Ltd, a startup focused on creating a multiplatform wellbeing service. Koski also worked at ARTER software as a Business Advisor in International Sales before moving to QPR Software Plc, where they currently hold the position of Senior Consultant in Business Advisory Services. Throughout their career, Koski has demonstrated expertise in areas such as enterprise architecture, change management, and service development.

Risto Koski has a diverse education history. Risto obtained an MBA from the Information Systems program at Haaga-Helia University of Applied Sciences in 2020. Prior to that, they earned a BBA from the Business Information Technology program at the same institution in 2019. Risto also holds a degree from Aalto University, where they completed the International Business Design Management program in 2012. Earlier in their education, they obtained an MSc with a focus on International Marketing and Computer Science from Aalto University in 1996.

In addition to their formal education, Risto has acquired several certifications. Risto received a Sales Force Explorer certification from Trailhead in March 2021. In 2018, they obtained ArchiMate®3 Foundation & Practitioner certification from The Open Group and TOGAF®9 Foundation certification, also from The Open Group. Furthermore, Risto obtained an ITIL Foundation Level certification from Nokia in 2004.
