Matt Wrench

Matt Wrench has a diverse work experience in events management and coordination. Matt is currently the Head of Events at QS Quacquarelli Symonds since February 2022. Prior to this, they worked at RICS as a Digital Events Manager from December 2020 to February 2022, and as a Senior Conference Logistics Coordinator from November 2018 to December 2020. At RICS, Matt played a pivotal role in steering the commercial strategy of the Conferences team and adapting their products to digital platforms. Before joining RICS, they worked as an Events Manager at GSA from November 2017 to November 2018. From 2014 to 2017, Matt held roles at CIPFA as a Conference Manager and Event Organiser, responsible for delivering seminars and conferences for the public sector. Matt worked as an Events Manager at Dinner Dates from November 2012 to May 2014, and as an Assistant Head of P.E. at Eggbuckland Community College from September 2010 to July 2011. Matt also gained experience in customer relations and service as Kitchen and Waiting Staff at The Burrator Inn from June 2006 to September 2008.

Matt Wrench attended Bournemouth University from 2008 to 2012, where they pursued a Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Sports Development and Coaching Sciences. Following this, they completed a Teaching English as a Foreign Language (TEFL) program, from an institution called TEFL, which lasted until 2021.
