Mauricio Izquierdo Ed.d.

Mauricio Izquierdo, Ed.D. has a diverse work experience starting from 2009 to 2022. Mauricio most recently held the position of Regional Director of Client Partnerships - Latin America at QS Quacquarelli Symonds since April 2022. Prior to this role, Mauricio worked as Partnership and Business Development at Bound International from September 2020 to April 2022. Mauricio also founded and worked as a Consultant at MAZE Opportunities from February 2020 to April 2022. Before that, Mauricio held various roles at UNIMINUTO Colombia, including International Projects Liaison - USA from June 2017 to March 2022 and International Affairs Director from June 2011 to May 2017. Mauricio also served as the Director of International Relations at Corporación Escuela de Artes y Letras from February 2010 to May 2011 and as Co-Director of the International Exchange Program at Unijorge from January 2009 to December 2009.

Mauricio Izquierdo, Ed.D. began their educational journey by earning a Bachelor's degree in International Business from Politécnico Grancolombiano, which they completed from 2005 to 2009. Mauricio then pursued a Master's degree in International Relations at Pontificia Universidad Javeriana between 2013 and 2015. Continuing their academic pursuits, they participated in the DAAD Internationalization of Higher Education program at Leibniz Universität Hannover, which occurred from 2016 to 2017. Currently, Mauricio is in the process of completing their Doctor of Education (Ed.D.) in Educational Leadership and Policy Analysis at the University of Missouri-Columbia, with expected completion in 2022.
