Prof. Chitra Weddikkara

Prof. Chitra Weddikkara serves as the Director at CIDA - Construction Industry Development Authority since May 2021. With a history of positions including Dean at Colombo School of Construction Technology (CSCT Campus) and Managing Director at various companies such as Qserve Global Holdings (Pvt) Ltd and Qserve Qatar, Prof. Weddikkara has extensive experience in managing cost consultancy, project management, and quantity surveying employees in multiple locations. Holding a Doctor of Science degree from The University of Salford, and a Ph.D. from Murdoch University in Dispute Resolution, Prof. Weddikkara is a highly qualified individual in the construction industry.
