Amy Bowman VMD has had a broad range of work experiences throughout their career. In 2021, they joined PetIQ as the Senior Regional Medical Director for Wellness Centers. Prior to that, in 2020, they served as the Chief Veterinary Officer at QSM Diagnostics, Inc. Additionally, in the same year, they became a Certified Life Coach at Been There Life Coaching, offering life coaching services to veterinary professionals. Amy Bowman VMD completed their Bachelor of Science in Chemistry and Molecular Biology (Masters program) from Western Michigan University from 1987 to 1989. Amy then attended West Virginia University from 1983 to 1987, where they studied Chemistry and Biology. Amy went on to earn their VMD (Veterinary Medicine) degree from the University of Pennsylvania, graduating between 1994 and 1998.

In addition to their academic qualifications, Amy has obtained several certifications. Amy completed the QPR Suicide Prevention Gatekeeper Program at the QPR Institute in July 2021. Amy also obtained a Workplace Wellbeing Certificate from the AVMA (American Veterinary Medical Association) in the same month and year. Amy became a Neuro-linguistic Program Practitioner through NLP Top Coach in October 2020, and they received their Life Purpose Coach Certification from the Transformation Academy in August 2020. Furthermore, Amy obtained a Life Coach Certification from Dr. Steve G. Jones - American Union Of NLP in June 2020.
