Dieter Droese

Dieter Droese has over 25 years of work experience. Dieter is currently the Senior Director Strategic Industry Accounts EMEA at The Qt Company. Prior to this, they worked as the Head of Account Management at German Edge Cloud from 2019 to 2021. From 2017 to 2019, they served as the Director Cloud Advisory at PwC Deutschland. Dieter also held the position of General Manager Cloud Business Unit, Central & Eastern Europe at DXC Technology from 2013 to 2017. Before that, they were the Managing Director Sales DACH at Sabio from 2011 to 2013. From 2007 to 2011, they worked at Avaya as the Director of Business Development DACH & Global Account Manager DPDHL. Dieter also has experience working as a Strategic Account Manager at Cisco Systems from 1999 to 2007, as a Key Account Manager at Vodafone from 1998 to 1999, and as an Account Manager at DeTeSystem from 1995 to 1998.

Dieter Droese began their education in 1988 when they attended the Technical University in Darmstadt. During their time there, they pursued a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering with a focus on Telecommunications. Dieter successfully completed this program in 1993.

Following their bachelor's degree, Dieter Droese enrolled at the University of Applied Science also in Darmstadt. From 1993 to 1994, they pursued a Master of Science degree in Electrical Engineering, specializing in Telecommunications.
