Kaj Grönholm

Kaj Grönholm is a Principal Software Engineer at The Qt Company since January 2022, bringing extensive experience in C++, Qt Quick, Quick 3D, UI/UX, GLSL, and particles gained over several years as an external consultant. As a Co-Founder and Qt Specialist at QUIt Coding since December 2009, Kaj has been involved in project delivery, open source development, and creative coding. Previous roles include Senior SW Developer at Nokia from February 2012 to December 2017, focusing on the OZO Applications team, and Chief Software Architect at Nomovok Ltd. from December 2002 to February 2012, where responsibilities included project management and team leadership in open-source development. Kaj began a career in software development as an Assistant at Lappeenranta University of Technology in mid-2002, following the completion of a Master of Science in Information Technology from LUT University in 2005.
