Risto Avila has extensive experience in engineering and consulting, particularly within the Qt framework, having held multiple leadership roles at Qt Group since October 2014, including Vice President of Customer Engineering and Vice President of Professional Services. Risto's responsibilities have included establishing cohesive customer-facing engineering functions, overseeing global consulting services, and guiding clients in technology selection and software architecture for improved product outcomes. Prior experiences include positions at Digia, Neusoft Mobile Solutions Oy, Nokia, and Sesca, where Risto worked on software development, integration, and team leadership, demonstrating a strong technical background and a commitment to helping clients succeed. Risto holds a Bachelor of Engineering degree in embedded system programming from Oulun seudun ammattikorkeakoulu.
