Jean-Luc Petit, CFA has a diverse and extensive work experience in the finance industry. Jean-Luc served as the Executive Director of Treasury Management & Economics Research at Queensland Treasury Corporation since 2011. Prior to that, they were a Senior Fixed-Income Portfolio Manager at BTIM from 2008 to 2010. Jean-Luc also held the position of Senior Fund Manager Fixed-Income at QBE Regional Insurance, where they managed global multi-currency fixed-income insurance portfolios worth approximately $20 billion AUD from 2006 to 2008. Jean-Luc began their career as a Fixed-Income Fund Manager at Caisse des dépôts from 1993 to 1996. Jean-Luc's impressive background also includes a 10-year tenure as CEO of HSBC Finance at HSBC Private Bank France, where they played a significant leadership role from 1996 to 2006.

Jean-Luc Petit, CFA, has a diverse education history. In 1988, they began their academic journey at Université Lumière Lyon 2, where they pursued a Masters degree in Economics and Econometrics, which they completed in 1992. Following their studies in Lyon, Jean-Luc Petit enrolled at the University of Paris I: Panthéon-Sorbonne in 1992, specializing in Decision Sciences and obtaining a Masters degree in 1993. Continuing their pursuit of knowledge and professional development, Jean-Luc Petit attended the CFA Institute from 1998 to 2000 and earned the esteemed CFA (Chartered Financial Analyst) designation, focusing on Financial Analysis.
