Jose Fajardo

Jose Fajardo has over 20 years of experience in financial markets. Jose started their career at Suncorp Group as a Fixed Income and Derivatives Settlements employee in 1992. Jose then worked as a Traders Assistant at Salomon Brothers Inc from 1994 to 1995. Following that, they joined Queensland Treasury Corporation as a Portfolio Manager, Fixed Interest from 1996 to 1999. Jose worked at Queensland Power Trading Corporation as a Contracts Manager in 2000. In the same year, they also worked at Deutsche Bank as an Exotics Control Analyst. In 2002, they worked as a Senior Credit Analyst, Continental Power and Gas at Williams Energy. Jose returned to Queensland Treasury Corporation in 2003 and held various senior positions, including Portfolio Manager, Credit Enhanced Cash Fund from 2003 to 2006, Associate Director, Debt Capital Markets and Funding from 2006 to 2017, and currently as the Executive Director, Head of Funding and Liquidity since 2017. Jose is also a member of QTC's Green Bond Committee.

Jose Fajardo has a Bachelor of Business degree in Accounting from QUT (Queensland University of Technology) which they obtained from 1990 to 1992. Jose also holds a Graduate Diploma in Applied Finance and Investment from FINSIA. The years of completion for the graduate diploma are not provided.
