Chelsea Sammons is an experienced arts education professional currently serving as the Director of Education and Community Engagement at the Quad City Symphony Orchestra since May 2018, where leadership includes overseeing educational programs that engage over 30,000 participants. Prior roles include managing the Quad City Symphony Youth Ensembles and teaching private lessons, alongside various internships focused on grant writing, development, and social media for organizations such as the Putnam Museum & Science Center and Dress for Success Quad Cities. Chelsea holds a Bachelor of Arts in Communication and Oboe Performance from the College of Saint Benedict, completed in 2018, and has developed a strong expertise in community engagement through years of dedication to arts administration and education.
