Amanda Simmons

Amanda Simmons is currently working as the Head Science Teacher at The Quad Preparatory School. Prior to this role, Amanda served as a Lower School Associate Science Teacher at the same institution. Amanda also has experience as a Middle School Science Teacher at City School of the Arts and as a Camp Director at LAVNER CAMPS & PROGRAMS, INC. Additionally, Amanda worked as an Americorps Member at KEYSTONE SMILES COMMUNITY LEARNING CENTER INC and as a Counselor at Camp Notre Dame. Amanda holds a Master's degree in Science Education from Teachers College, Columbia University, and is currently pursuing a Certification in UI/UX Design from Springboard. Amanda graduated with a Bachelor's degree in Biology from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
