Visiting Scientist at Quadram Institute

Aldert Zomer is a Universitair hoofddocent and Assistant Professor at Universiteit Utrecht since November 2014, specializing in (meta)genome sequencing for comparative genomics and molecular epidemiology of bacterial pathogens. Zomer serves as a bioinformatics consultant for Janssen Pharmaceuticals, focusing on bacterial vaccine development, and holds the position of Bioinformatics Scientist at Quadram Institute since June 2022.
