Dhanendra Jani

Dhanendra Jani is an accomplished engineering professional with extensive experience in high-performance processor development. Currently serving as VP of Engineering at Quadric since September 2022, Dhanendra is focused on building a new class of general-purpose NPU for AI inferencing at the edge and developing the corresponding software and hardware solutions. Prior to this, Dhanendra held the position of VP of Research & Development at Cadence Design Systems, where responsibilities included defining the Xtensa NX DSP platform and delivering multiple hardware generations. With a foundational career that began at Intel, including roles in management at Tensilica leading to significant contributions in the Xtensa product line, Dhanendra has consistently demonstrated expertise in hardware engineering and design. Dhanendra holds an MS in Electrical Engineering from Virginia Tech and a BE in Electrical Engineering from VJTI, University of Bombay.
