Ambert Sawaya

Ambert Sawaya is currently a Graduate Teaching Assistant at Columbia University, where responsibilities include teaching and grading for Modeling and Identification of Dynamic Systems. Alongside this role, Ambert serves as a Research Intern at Quadrus Medical Technologies, leading a project on dynamic lung modeling, encompassing all stages from conception to assembly. Previous experience includes working at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology as Dockstaff, managing recreational sailing patrons, and serving as a Lifeguard and Swim Instructor. Ambert also interned with Engineers Without Borders USA, focusing on project monitoring and evaluation for Community Engineering Corps. Early roles include Camp Counselor at Charles River Sailing Academy and Swim Coach at Gator Swim Club, contributing to multiple championship victories. Ambert holds a Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Columbia University and a Bachelor's degree in Biochemistry from Kenyon College.
