Summer Blades

Summer Blades has a strong background in internal auditing, primarily in the banking industry. Summer began their career as a Staff Accountant at LBA Certified Public Accountants, PA in 2007. Summer then moved on to EverBank, where they served as an AVP, Internal Audit Supervisor from 2010 to 2014. In 2014, they briefly worked as a VP, Senior Internal Auditor at North Dallas Bank & Trust Co. Summer then joined MidFirst Bank as a Senior Internal Auditor from 2015 to 2016. Summer has since held various positions at Quail Creek Bank, including Assistant Vice President, Internal Auditor from 2016 to 2018, Vice President Internal Audit from 2018 to 2020, Vice President, Director of Internal Audit from 2020 to 2021, and currently holds the position of Senior Vice President, Director of Internal Audit since December 2021.

Summer Blades has a Bachelor's degree in Accounting from the University of Central Oklahoma. In 2018 to 2021, they attended the Graduate School of Banking at Colorado, although no specific degree or field of study was mentioned. Summer also holds several additional certifications, including the Certified Regulatory Compliance Manager (CRCM) obtained from the American Bankers Association in August 2019, the Certified Internal Controls Auditor obtained from CICA in November 2017, and the Certified Internal Auditor obtained from The Institute of Internal Auditors Inc. in February 2012.
