Joe Berquist

Joe Berquist has a strong work background, starting with their current role as the Chief Commercial Officer (CCO) at Quaker Houghton since 2019. Prior to this, they served as the Chief Strategy Officer (CSO) and Executive Vice President at the same company from 2019 to 2022. In this role, they had responsibilities for the global specialty businesses and acted as the Interim Managing Director for the EMEA region. Joe held a similar position as the Vice President and Managing Director for North America at Quaker Chemical from 2010 to 2019, where they managed sales force allocation and territory planning. Joe also has experience as a Technical Shift Manager at AK Steel Corporation from 1995 to 1997. Additionally, they served as a Board Member for the World Affairs Council of Philadelphia starting in 2016.

Joe Berquist earned their Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree from the Weatherhead School of Management at Case Western Reserve University between 2006 and 2008. Joe also obtained a Bachelor of Engineering (B Eng) degree in Chemical Engineering from Youngstown State University from 1990 to 1995. Additionally, they completed a Corporate Governance Certification program at Drexel University's LeBow College of Business and received a certificate in Leading the Effective Sales Force from Wharton Executive Education.
