Rafael Sánchez

Rafael Sánchez has a diverse work experience in various technology-related roles. Starting in 2008, they worked as a Software Developer at Grupo Salinas for a year and a half. Rafael then joined GESFOR México - Panamá as a Software Developer, where they were responsible for frontend and backend development for Seguros Bancomer. In 2011, they joined Credifiel México as a Software Development Engineer, working on frontend development, API creation, and ETL maintenance. Rafael later assumed the role of IT Manager at Credifiel México, where they designed services and provided technical support for operational applications.

In 2013, Sánchez became a Software Engineering Manager at Grupo México Transportes, where they developed software solutions aligned with company strategies and implemented inclusive technology. Rafael also worked on API development for ERP integration. After leaving Grupo México Transportes in 2018, they joined MITECMéxico as a Digital Implementation Manager for a year.

From 2019 to 2021, Sánchez served as the Chief Digital Transformation Officer at Universidad Juárez del Estado de Durango, where they designed the digital transformation strategy and created digital products to enhance the university's digital journey.

In 2021, they joined Nuvocargo as a Software Engineering Manager, responsible for unblocking the engineering team, eliminating blockers, and ensuring successful performance. This was followed by a role as Head of Engineering at FastFarma (YC S21) for a short period.

Most recently, Sánchez co-founded Qualifinds in 2023, assuming the role of CTO. In addition, they joined Kinedu as a Software Engineering Manager.

Rafael Sánchez obtained a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from Universidad Veracruzana in the period of 2001-2005. In 2017, they pursued a Diplomatura in Usabilidad y UX con Sistemas Interactivos at Instituto Tecnológico Autónomo de México. The following year, in 2018, Rafael completed a Diplomatura in Marketing Digital & eCommerce at Escuela De Internet.
