Leigh Keatts

Leigh Keatts, CPA, has held various roles throughout their work experience. They started their career as a Tax Analyst at Sempra Energy in 2010 and later worked as an Accounting Professional at R. Navarro & Associates CPA from 2011 to 2013. Keatts then joined Hutchinson and Bloodgood LLP as a Senior Accountant, specializing in international tax and expat planning, from 2013 to 2015.

In 2015, Keatts joined Global Tax Network, where they served as a Global Mobility Senior Consultant from 2015 to 2017 and then as a Manager, Global Mobility Tax Specialist from 2018 to 2020.

Currently, Keatts works at Quality Bicycle Products, first as a Tax & Compliance Accountant from 2020 to 2022, and now as the Director of Tax and Compliance since March 2022.

Throughout their career, Keatts has gained valuable experience in tax planning, individual tax returns, international tax, expat planning, and compliance.

Leigh Keatts, CPA, has a strong education background in accounting and taxation. Leigh obtained their Bachelor's degree in Accounting and Information Systems from Virginia Tech between 2005 and 2009. Following their undergraduate studies, they pursued a Master's degree in Business Taxation at the University of Southern California from 2009 to 2010, specializing in Tax Law/Taxation.

In addition to their educational achievements, Leigh Keatts has obtained several certifications to further enhance their professional expertise. In 2013, they became a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) through the California Board of Accountancy. This certification reflects their proficiency in accounting practices and their dedication to maintaining high professional standards. In 2016, Leigh obtained the Certified Acceptance Agent certification from the Internal Revenue Service, indicating their knowledge and ability to assist individuals and foreign entities with their tax-related needs. Most recently, in April 2022, Leigh Keatts achieved the Notary Public designation through the Office of Minnesota Secretary of State Steve Simon, showcasing their ability to authenticate and legalize various legal documents.
