Phil Southard has over 15 years of experience in financial leadership roles. Phil is currently the Chief Financial Officer and Co-Founder of Quality Collision Group, a national owner and operator of OEM-certified collision repair centers. Prior to this, they served as the Chief Financial Officer of Long Island Veterinary Specialists, where they were responsible for strategic decision making and maintaining a disciplined framework for analysis. Phil also held the position of Chief Financial Officer at New York Kids Club, overseeing financial and risk management activities. Earlier in their career, they were the Vice President and Corporate Controller at CityMD, responsible for accounting and reporting for a multi-site healthcare network. Phil also served as the Vice President of Finance & CFO at GCommerce, Inc., providing financial and operational leadership. Phil started their career as a Corporate Controller at BCI Communications and later served as the Corporate Controller at Alere (Paradigm Health Systems), where they effectively managed the accounting and finance functions. Overall, Phil has a strong background in financial management and has played key roles in various industries, including healthcare, education, and distribution.
Phil Southard earned a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree in Finance, General from Fairleigh Dickinson University. Phil attended the university from 1996 to 2004. Prior to that, they completed a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) degree in Accounting from Pace University, attending from 1983 to 1987. Additionally, Phil Southard obtained the Certified Public Accountant (CPA) certification from the New York State in May 2005.
