Sean Picou has a strong and diverse work experience spanning over several years. Sean currently holds the position of Vice President of Operations at Quality Steel Corporation since March 2020. Sean previously served as the Director of Operations at the same company from January 2016 to March 2020. Before that, they worked as the Plant Manager - Salt Lake City at Quality Steel Corporation (formerly American Welding and Tank) from July 2010 to December 2015.
Prior to joining Quality Steel Corporation, Sean held various roles at different organizations. Sean served as the Director of Operations and Operational Excellence Manager at Crane Energy from March 2008 to July 2010 and August 2008 to May 2010, respectively. Sean also worked as the Director of Lean Processes at Headwaters Construction Materials from May 2007 to August 2008.
Additionally, Sean has experience as the Lean and Quality Manager at Therma Tru from 2004 to 2007 and as a Captain (Armor) in the Texas Army National Guard from June 1993 to May 2004. Sean started their career as a Mechanical Systems Engineer at TXU Energy from June 2001 to February 2004.
From 1996 to 2001, Sean Picou attended Texas A&M University, where they pursued a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering.
