Allen Kapherr has a range of work experience in various industries. Allen started their career as a Honors Physician Shadowing Program at Duke Raleigh Hospital in 2013. In 2014, they worked as a University Ambassador at NC State University and also as a Habilitation Technician at Lindley Habilitation Services.
In 2016, Allen worked as a Corporate Preclinical Development and Toxicology Summer Associate at Becton, Dickinson and Company, where they led a project to design and develop a SQL Server database for organizing toxicological risk assessments. Allen also worked on software data life cycle and policy projects.
Afterwards, Allen joined Alcami Corporation in 2017 as a Project Coordinator/Supply Chain Planner. Allen worked there until 2018 when they transitioned to PPD as a Remote Site Monitor. At PPD, they were responsible for monitoring remote sites until November 2020.
Most recently, Allen has been a Project Manager at Quality Chemical Laboratories since November 2020.
Allen Kapherr's education history includes obtaining a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Biological Sciences with a concentration in Human Biology, along with minors in Genetics and Nutrition, from North Carolina State University. Allen attended this university from 2011 to 2015. Following this, they pursued a Master of Professional Science degree in Toxicology at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill from 2015 to 2016. Additionally, Allen completed the UNC Business Essentials Program offered by UNC Kenan-Flagler Business School and received a certificate in the same field in 2016. Allen also obtained an additional certification, namely the UNC Business Essentials Course, from UNC Kenan-Flagler Business School in August 2016.
