Ethan Clendening

Ethan Clendening is a finance professional with extensive experience in strategic finance and business operations. Currently serving as the Director of FP&A at Qualtrics since July 2025, Ethan previously held the position of VP of Finance at Elate and was a Senior Manager in Strategic Sales & Partner Finance at HubSpot, where leadership of a five-member team resulted in impactful strategic recommendations for growth. Prior experience includes a tenure at Microsoft, where Ethan held various roles, including Sr. Finance Manager for the US Azure Cloud, contributing to multibillion-dollar go-to-market strategies. Ethan began the finance career as an intern at Microsoft and the U.S. Embassy in Buenos Aires after completing a Bachelor of Arts in Economics at the University of Notre Dame, graduating summa cum laude.
