Angela Black

Angela Black is a Transmission Planning Engineer at Qualus since May 2018 and has concurrently served as Engineer II at Power Grid Engineering, LLC since July 2020. Angela's experience includes relevant roles in electrical engineering, with a background as an Electrical Engineering Student and Student Intern at the University of Alabama at Birmingham from August 2009 to July 2020. Additional internships at Power Grid Engineering, LLC, Southern Company Services, and the Center for Biophysical Sciences and Engineering have provided insight into embedded computers, power quality, and electric vehicles. Angela holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from the University of Alabama at Birmingham, earned in 2013.
