Pankaj Gupta

Pankaj Gupta currently serves as Vice President of Cloud OPS and Data Platform Engineering at Qualys since February 2019, having previously held the positions of Senior Director and Director in the same domain. Prior experience includes a role as Senior Manager of R&D at VMware, where management of a 15-engineer team focused on the orchestration of Software Defined Data Centers. Pankaj has also served as Director of Software Development at Ayla Networks and Principal Engineer at AppDynamics Inc. Notably, at Apollo Group, a leadership role involved scaling a classroom platform for the University of Phoenix, facilitating a real classroom experience online for 500,000 students. Earlier positions include Senior Software Architect at CA Technologies, and various software engineering roles at E-Loan, Tellme Networks, and General Magic. Pankaj Gupta holds a Bachelor of Technology in Electrical & Computer Engineering from the Institute of Engineering and Technology, Lucknow, India.
