Sebastien B.

Head of R&D Semiconductor Quantum Devices at Quandela

Sebastien B. has a wealth of experience in the semiconductor quantum device field. Sebastien began their career in 2015 as a Visiting Researcher at the University of York. Two years later, they took on a similar role at the London Centre for Nanotechnology. In 2019, they became a Research Associate at Imperial College London. Most recently, in 2020, Sebastien was appointed Director of Semiconductor Quantum Devices and Quantum Device Engineer at Quandela.

Sebastien B. began their educational career in 2010 when they attended UCL and earned a Master of Science degree in Natural Sciences in 2014. In 2015, they continued their studies at Imperial College London, where they earned a Master of Research degree in Controlled Quantum Dynamics. Sebastien then returned to Imperial College London in 2015 to pursue a Doctor of Philosophy degree in Physics, which they completed in 2019. During their studies at UCL, Sebastien B. also took part in an exchange program at the University of Toronto in 2012-2013.
