Evan Reich

Evan Reich is the Head of Data Strategy and Sourcing at Quandl. Evan has over 10 years of experience in the financial industry, specializing in data strategy and sourcing.

Evan started their career in 2009 as the Director of Financial Services and Real Estate Research and Analysis for an independent equity research company. In 2010, they joined SAC Capital as the Associate Director of Alternative Research and Data Services. Evan moved to Millennium Partners in 2011, where they served as the Market Data Director until 2014.

In 2014, Evan joined BlueMountain Capital Management as the Global Head of Data Strategy and Sourcing. Evan was responsible for managing all vendor relationships and sourcing new datasets across the entire line of business. Evan provided oversight and management of data engineering, and led the team that won Information Management’s “Best Use of Data” award in 2016.

In 2019, Evan joined Nasdaq as the Head of Data Strategy and Sourcing. Evan is responsible for leading all aspects of data strategy and sourcing for the largest provider of alternative data to financial professionals.

Evan Reich is a thought leader in the area of data strategy and sourcing, and has been quoted in articles by Forbes, Wall Street Journal, Bloomberg, and other publications. Evan holds a BA from Harvard University.

Evan Reich attended the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, where they studied mathematics. Evan then attended Hunter College High School.
