Harish Vadlamani

Harish Vadlamani has a diverse work experience in the field of machine learning and data science. Harish started their career as an ML Engineer at L V PRASAD EYE INSTITUTE, where they worked on a project involving classification of patient data based on the severity of a disease. Harish achieved excellent results and deployed the model as a web interface.

Harish then worked as a Python Developer at Qualitics, where they built RESTful APIs and performed CRUD operations for a crowdsource testing platform. Harish used Python Flask and MongoDB and followed Agile methodologies for project management.

At Udacity, Harish had multiple roles. As a Project Reviewer, they reviewed student project submissions and provided helpful feedback. Harish also served as a Student Mentor, providing personalized guidance to over 30 students in deep learning and AI courses.

As a Data Science Analyst at Laalsa, Harish delivered meaningful insights from data and worked on building a recommendation system.

As a Machine Learning Fellow at Fellowship.AI, Harish worked on building an automated pizza maker that detects levels of doneness in pizzas with high accuracy. Harish employed various data augmentation techniques to enhance the training set.

Harish conducted OCR and web scraping of patent data, cleaned and preprocessed data using NLP techniques, and performed topic modeling and matching of patents.

Harish Vadlamani pursued their Bachelor of Technology (BTech) degree in Electrical, Electronics and Communications Engineering from Manipal Institute of Technology. Harish then furthered their education by completing a Nanodegree in Self-Driving Car from Udacity in 2018. In 2019, Harish attended the Indian Institute of Technology, Hyderabad, where they completed a Professional Program in Artificial Intelligence and Emerging Technologies. Moving forward, they enrolled in the Great Lakes Institute of Management in 2018, where they earned a Post Graduate Program (PGP) in Data Science and Engineering in 2019. In 2020, Harish obtained a Deep Learning Certification from the University of San Francisco. Currently, they are pursuing a Master of Science (MS) degree in Data Science - Computational Linguistics at The University of British Columbia since 2021. Additionally, Harish has several additional certifications, including Deep Learning Part 1 from The Data Institute, University of San Francisco in 2020 and Control of Mobile Robots from Coursera Course Certificates in 2016.
