David Salvo Gutierrez

David Salvo Gutierrez has a diverse work experience in various roles and industries. David started their career as an Entrenador de fútbol at Puig C.E, where they coached teams in different categories. David then joined Delegació d'Alumnes de Teleco as a Coordinador de Cultura, where they focused on promoting entrepreneurship and talent within the school. Continuing their interest in technology, David co-founded Smart Cityzen Lab, where they served as a Co-Founder and Media Content Creator.

David's passion for AI and project management led him to roles at Robotnik Automation SLL, Tyris AI - Inteligencia Artificial para la Industria, and QUANT AI Lab. At Robotnik Automation SLL, they worked as an R&D Engineer and was responsible for developing robotic solutions and managing innovation projects in the field of robotics. At Tyris AI, they excelled as an AI Project Manager, leading the initiation, planning, execution, monitoring, and closing of various AI projects. Lastly, at QUANT AI Lab, David held the roles of AI Senior Data Scientist and AI Project Manager, where they designed AI architectures and managed the development of machine learning infrastructure for various scenarios in the financial sector.

David also gained research experience at the Institute of Telecommunications and Multimedia Applications (iTEAM) as an IA and ML Researcher and Research Intern. Here, they worked on developing neural networks for sound classifiers and conducted research as part of their master's work. Prior to their research experience, David studied at the Universitat Politècnica de València (UPV) as a student, embracing the interdisciplinary nature of learning.

David Salvo Gutierrez completed their Bachelor's degree in Ingenieria de Tecnologias y Servicios de Telecomunicacion in the field of Ingenieria y Arquitectura Tecnologias de la Informacion y las Comunicaciones from the Universitat Politècnica de València (UPV) in 2018. David then pursued a Master's degree in Ingenieria de Telecomunicacion with a specialization in Tecnologia de la informacion from the same institution, which they completed in 2020.

In addition to their formal education, David has obtained several certifications. In 2019, they participated in the program Explorer "Jovenes con ideas" (UPV) offered by CISE | Centro Internacional Santander Emprendimiento. David completed the Phase 1 of the Innovation Platform from Vodafone Campus Lab in October 2018. In October 2017, they received a certification in MATLAB Tools for Teaching and Research, An Introduction to Predictive Data Analytics from the Universitat Politècnica de València (UPV).

David also completed the OUISHARE UNIVERSITY program on Collaborative Economy in February 2017, the CTO Course on Leading Technical Talent in Startups in July 2016, and the Machine Learning for Big Data/Aprendizaje Automático Aplicado a Big Data course in July 2016, all from the Universitat Politècnica de València (UPV). Furthermore, they completed the DAY[EMPRENDE] course in February 2016, and the Comunicacion Oral: Presentaciones de Calidad course in December 2014, both from the Universitat Politècnica de València (UPV).
