Chip Wood

Chip Wood has over 30 years of experience in the energy industry. Chip currently works as the Vice President of Southeast Commercial Operations at Quanta Services, Inc. Prior to this role, they were a Partner and Director at Guidehouse, where they provided strategic guidance and served as a trusted advisor to senior leadership. Chip also worked at Navigant as a Director, leveraging their expertise in customer strategy, renewables, distributed energy resources, and competitive retail electric supply to benefit the company's utility clients. Chip has also served as a Principal at CW Energy Consulting and a Member of the Board of Directors at Encycle. Earlier in their career, Chip held various leadership roles at Duke Energy Corporation, including Vice President of Business Development, Vice President of Strategic Initiatives, Vice President of Sales and Marketing, Vice President of Economic Development & Community Relations, and General Manager of Marketing & Strategy. Throughout their career, they have demonstrated a track record of driving growth, building strategic partnerships, and delivering results in the energy sector.

Chip Wood has a Masters in Business Administration from Queens University of Charlotte and a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from North Carolina State University. Chip also completed the Leadership North Carolina program in 2005 and the Leadership Charlotte program.
