Farid Katiraei

Farid Katiraei serves as President of Innoversa and Vice President of Quanta Technology at Quanta Services, Inc., starting in July 2023. Previously, Katiraei was the Senior Director for Technology Integration and Microgrids at Quanta Technology, LLC from April 2008 to August 2023, overseeing advanced technology integration and managing the Sustainable Technology Integration Laboratory in Markham, Ontario, focused on microgrid development and testing. Prior experience includes a role as a T&D Research Engineer at CETC-V, where responsibilities encompassed grid interconnection of renewable energy sources and utility impact studies. Katiraei earned a Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering from the University of Toronto between 2001 and 2005.
