Sagar Karki

Sagar Karki is an experienced electrical engineer currently serving as Electrical Engineer III at Quanta Technology, LLC since April 2021. Prior experience includes roles as a Research and Teaching Assistant at Virginia Tech, focusing on topics such as voltage stability in PV systems, microgrid control, and conservation voltage reduction. As a Graduate Teaching Assistant, Sagar conducted laboratory classes and assisted with MATLAB and Arduino projects. Additional experience includes a Data Analysis and Machine Learning internship at QUANTUM New Energy, where Sagar employed regression analysis and clustering techniques to analyze smart meter data. Sagar's career began as an Electrical Project Engineer at Mount Kailash Energy Company Ltd., leading the design and installation of transmission-distribution systems. Sagar holds a Master of Science in Electrical Engineering from Virginia Tech and a Bachelor's degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Tribhuvan University.
